Bille Brown Theatre

The Bille Brown Theatre is a major milestone in the history of Queensland. It represents the first ‘home’ theatre and a major asset to the arts community and general public. The refurbishment of the Bille Brown studio delivered an extensive upgrade, with a reconfigured stage and a purpose built, fixed seating arrangement for over 350 patrons.

A redesign of the main entry and the existing external courtyard allowed for the rationalisation of public circulation paths into the theatre space and increased the amenity for patrons before and after performances. BAUX Panels in Diagonal were used to manage the acoustics in this space.
